SIGNE is now in the UK.

Singer/songwriter Signe (rhymes with Xena) writes rhythmic pop/rock loaded with instantly hummable melodies and thoughtful, often poignant lyrics. Known for her deliciously soulful voice, Signe possesses a unique vocal versatility that has earned her comparisons to artists as diverse as Tori Amos, Jewel, Sarah Maclachlan, Natalie Merchant, and Alanis Morrisette.

Signe’s tentative and often playful nature, coupled with her infectious live energy immediately draws audiences in. She’s played hundreds of live gigs, both as a lead singer for Canadian band “Minervah”, and as her solo act “Signe”. She’s played packed bars and pubs in Canada, corporate and private events, on the Canadian CMT stage at the Calgary Stampede, at the Recording Industry Awards in Alberta, and most recently at The Cavern in Liverpool, UK. Able to play either unplugged or with her talented backing bands in Montreal and Calgary, she is an adept pianist and guitarist, and she brings both instrumental and musical variety to all of her performances.
