It was now well past midnight but, for me, the "Piece de resistance" was about to come in the shape of Basingstoke Ska-Punkers Signs Of Insanity.
True, my soft spot for these guys dates back to the days and nights of Silks, but this night,or rather these early hours, were to witness them put on a show which blew all past shows out of the water.
They were tremendous, solid, first class - power and excitement and loads of other positive things besides. And it wasn't just me.
The crowd was packed solid around them and they were moving and shouting as one.

Hey guys and gals!
How's shit? We're doing pretty good and been gigging away as much as we can. We have a few shows coming up that you should try to get to and of course, we've been invited back to Fordham Fest this year. We have a new t-shirt design in the pipe line thanks to Dan Hazzard and Mr T of Second In Line (RIP). Got loads of new tunes being worked on and hope to see you all soon! Jim
BIO
Signs Of Insanity started out as a band in late 2002 as the pop-punk band No Talent Joe. After line up changes they have progressed to play a mixture of political and light hearted edgy ska-punk which they feel fit their views and attitude.
As a band Signs Of Insanity like nothing more than to put on a good show by playing to their full ability at every gig. With every gig their stage presence increases and their crowd become that bit more passionate.
Good set on Friday people...although i think its revolting how we are not in your top friends.... If it means getting out the wooden spoon and beating the cabbage out of you...so be it.. Jesus loves you... But I love you more *cough*
