well, I came on here because I wanted to hear some tunes, and read those comments. Sometimes it's a whisper that is heard the loudest. In many circles, communities, genres of music etc., the people that are most impactful become arrogant, and completely self-serving. Everything but their craft becomes repulsive. This is obviously the polar opposite. The chatter around dnb circles hold you in the highest regard- so your voice and opinion do matter. There's shitloads of us that love and respect what you do, so hopefully this doesn't change your demeanor to listeners in general.

cheers

Wow Calibre me being 35 years in the business playing with Joe Zawinul and endless artists, plus composing and learning many instruments when you came about, you like paradox.bassbin and a host of others are a breath of fresh air,I just got your new shelve life2 and practice my drums to it,the sad reality in the business we are in is that besides criminal elements ripping off us from our daily income you also have a host of mediocre artists that blatantly steal material from each other with no respect to our craft Im not going to keep talking because I choose sometimes not to let it bother you but I am with you sir,YOU ARE AN ORIGINAL!!Iam glad you do not stop because you do not know what joy I get when I wait and your CD comes out and I trip away with you, keep going my brother!!!

Hello i just wanted to get something of my chest, i feel really discouraged by dj's ripping tunes from my player,
now im not that bothered by file sharing as i think it gets music to places outside of the major label's control, plus it puts artists in a position where you don't need to advertise in the same sterile fashion and people can access new music, and hey without a bit of chaos what changes?
But sometimes i don't feel like i want to put my new music up here anymore because dj's or whoever out there seem to feel like its ok to rip the tune, and that leads me on to the bigger issue.
Like many other independent artists im not rich, i don't hog any press, i stay true to my craft and work hard at making what i do evolve, all this and bad grammar......
The fact also remains that i fear that im being petulant in the face of a cultural change that has already happened.
In the perfect world all art should be free but this isn't a perfect world, so musicians are in a difficult situation.
What i do know is that this little message wont do much except serve my own needs for a minute,
and thats what's making me feel down about this, not the theft but the actual feeling of my art being made worthless outside of my own need to put a value on it.
My voice when all is considered isn't that important, i know this but in my humble opinion these things take time, and time my friends is precious.
Maybe im too dramatic and i should just call those who have made gain from my own and others work, a bunch of absolute fuckwits and be done with it, but i don't want to contribute in that way......ahem.
I know i could edit the versions but i want the whole tunes for you guys and girls to listen to, and maybe i like people sharing my music and maybe i shouldn't even complain......and so in recognition of their choice of theft/sharing i thank you........now where's the lifeboats.
