At last, 2 years after the first note was struck and I'm pretty much done!!! My new work is entitled, 'ADESIJI', which for the non Yoruba speaking folks, means, 'The Crown protects me'. My full name is 'ADESIJIBOMI' but for ease of prononciation it's truncated to ADESIJI.
We're in the digital realm now and my promotional efforts would be geared toward working within this medium. I may well release the album strictly in it's digital form for now and have physical copies for sale at live shows and exclusively to order from my website, (www.sijimusic.com) as demand calls for it.
King Britt, Rich Medina, Monet, Bill Lee, Alix Alvarez & Sonny Daze among others, were kind enough to come on board and share their gifts and talents with me on this noble effort with stunning results as you'd get to hear shortly. Stay tuned......
