SILBERFISCHER sind Elke (Kommunikationsdesignerin) und André Riethmüller (Programmierer). Angefangen haben wir 2004 mit experimenteller Stickerei. Nun gesellen sich immer unterschiedliche grafische Produkte in unser Sortiment, denn Grafikdesign liegt uns am Herzen, egal ob auf T-Shirts, Caps, Buttons oder Wallsticker. Seit Ende 2006 haben wir auch einen Offlineshop in Berlin, den

The silberfischer label was established in 2004 by Elke (Communication Designer) and André Riethmüller (Programmer) when they acquired a computerized stitching machine. To reanimate the dull image of drawn thread work they started to apply traditional techniques like cross-stitching to unconventional motifs, such as ghettoblasters and skulls. Their experiments resulted in fashionable stitching design for urban people. The label fishes for inspiration from everyday life in Berlin. Hence, unusual items like dusters or waxed Asian tablecloths find there way into their collection. The stitched buttons, with the cute name Buttonies, are unique. The shirts originate from continental clothing company and are produced sweatshopfree, exemplifying high quality. Design and stitching from Berlin.

Im gemütlichen Wohnzimmer der SILBERFISCHER kommen die Freunde des bedruckten oder bestickten T-Shirts voll auf ihre Kosten. Im Kleiderschrank hängen neben eigenen Entwürfen Modelle von Threadless, Design By Humans, LaFraise u. a jenseits des Mainstreams. Richtiges Motiv, falsche Farbe? In einer halben Stunde werden (fast alle) Wünsche wahr. Dazu gibt es mit Pixelgrafiken bestickte Buttons, Wallsticker, Dackelbroschen von SMIL und allerlei mehr.

The closet is full of their own designs as well as styles by Threadless, Design By Humans, LaFraise and many other beyond-mainstream labels. Nice design, but wrong color? (Almost) any custom shirt can be made in thirty minutes. Don‘t miss the pixelgraphic-embroidered pins, the wallstickers, dachshund brooches by SMIL and much more.
