[ESP] Silence deja de ser una idea en las mentes de Diego Astrada y Gabriel Olivares hacia finales del año 2004. En los primeros meses del 2005 se incorporan progresivamente Guido Bisocoli en batería, Fernando Larriestra en bajo, Hernán De Angelis en teclados, y Viking en la voz, constituyendo entonces la formación definitiva. En junio del mismo año se registra el primer concierto, comenzando así una serie de recitales, la cuál no se detendría hasta la grabación de su primer EP, de nombre homónimo, durante los meses de Septiembre y Octubre. Una vez concluida, el grupo se dedica el resto de 2005 y durante todo el 2006 a su distribución y presentación en directo.
En el año 2007 Silence graba “The Growling Flames”, trabajo de pre-producción de lo que sería su primer larga duración.
El año 2008 encuentra a la banda con cambios de formación: La salida de Hernán De Angelis en teclados y Fernando Larriestra en Bajo y el ingreso de Juan Manuel Ponce de León reemplazando a este último.
El quinteto se encuentra actualmente produciendo su primer larga duración.
Silence nace ante la creciente necesidad de sus creadores por explorar nuevos aspectos musicales. Es por ello que definir su estilo se vuelve difícil, ya que por un lado, las influencias de cada integrante son muchas y distintas, y por otro, el proyecto se caracteriza por no imponer ningún tipo de límites a las tendencias creadoras de cada uno. Sin embargo, todo parece girar en torno de un concepto: música extrema, entendiendo esto como una tendencia constante por incursionar en los límites de lo predecible.
[ENG] Silence stopped being an idea in the minds of Diego Astrada and Gabriel Olivares towards the end of 2004. In the first months of 2005 Guido Bisocoli on Drums, Fernando Larriestra on Bass, Hernán De Angelis ..boards became members of the band as the definitive lineup. In June the same year the band gave their first show, beginning this way a series of recitals, which would not stop until the recording of their first independent production, Silence, during September and October. Once concluded, the group devoted the rest of 2005 to its distribution and live presentation.
In 2007, Silence recorded The Growling Flames , pre-production work of what would be their first long-play.
In 2008 the band suffered line-up changes: Hernán De Angelis and Fernando Larriestra left the band, Juan Manuel Ponce de León replacing the latter.
The quintet is nowadays producing their first long-play.
Silence was born from the increasing need of it creators to explore new musical paths. Thus, defining their style becomes difficult, since on the one hand, the influences of every member are many and different, and on the other, the project is characterized by not imposing any type of limits to each member..s creative trends. Nevertheless, everything seems to turn around a concept: extreme music, understanding this as a constant trend for penetrating into the limits of the predictable.
