  • Bio

.. .. .... PMBK Live:.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. The Harvest Video:.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... In 2005, Silencer made the transition from thrash / traditional metal to a more modern sound, pulling European influences while retaining a distinct American flavor. After changing record labels, Silencer released "Divisions" in 2009, which carried a more open, melodic approach to songwriting. The band have extensively toured the southwest and midwest for Death of Awe's release. Silencer draw influence from Darkane, early Soilwork, Carnal Forge, Mnemic, Devin Townsend, Nevermore, and plenty more. Currently we're in the studio writing another thrash extravaganza!
