OK, I give up. No more denial. Let go. Just give in to it...

Finding you felt like winning the lottery. And that's scary.


But what if our paths never crossed?

Losing you sucks. But I feel fortunate for the chance to know you...at least a little. I'm pretty sure of that...and that I love you. Happy Valentine's day.

Love is the triumph of hope over fear.

Truly, hope is one of the most awesome hallmarks of the human spirit;
but Hope ain't Love!

Love is sacrifice.
Love is courage.
Love is character.
These human characteristics were once called virtues.

Hope is not a Virtue.

And as a movement--or a slick advertising campaign--hope rings almost as hollow
as one based on change.

Love is the triumph of hope over fear,
but if you focus on hope--or on fear--you've entirely missed the point:
love is triumph--the triumph that comes from a struggle, from a fight;
you love when you have something worth the fighting for.
