About me:

For starters, I am a very creative individual and my world isn't complete unless I'm putting together some new and unique project. However, my greatest passion in life is writing and it is something I have been doing since I was twelve years old. I have had several pieces of my work published in various media outlets around the world since 1993. I've touched on every genre from poetry to short fiction and I've even tried my hand at a few screenplays. In addition to writing, I am also a freelance graphic designer and photographer. I design everything from websites to CD covers and I specialize in commercial and landscape photography. I've tried my hand at about every design and photographic medium there is, so if you'd like to have me work on your next project, just send me a message and I'll give you a quote for my rates. Besides writing, designing and photography, I also dabble in drawing, painting, sculpting, jewelry making, special effects make-up and videography. Several photos of these creative pursuits are in my photo albums as well. My videos are located on YouTube under the username kelikala.

Along with all these creative quirks, I'm also a huge movie, music, book and trivia fanatic. Needless to say, I'm one of these girls who would rather have her nose stuck in a comic book than in a fashion magazine. A few other interesting tidbits about myself - I am a self confessed pack-rat. I save almost every letter, postcard, or card I've ever received and I hang on to ticket stubs, airline tickets and brochures I've picked up when I visit or attend an interesting place or event. I collect action figures, movie memorabilia and prop replicas from some of my favorite movies. The walls of my place are plastered with movie posters as well as fine art paintings and photography and my shelves are filled with whimsical figurines of faeries. I also practice the art of Feng Shui.
