Atlanta's entry in the field of pop psychedelia is the Silent Kids, an erstwhile four-piece. The band made their name by putting to good use vintage equipment, makeshift home studio space, an analog eight-track recorder, and general inventiveness.
The band released their debut "Tomorrow Waits" in 2003 and toured the United States. Their 2nd album "Dinosaurs Turn Into Birds" was released in early 2008.
And thanks to you guys for the bass amp loan. I've been enjoying the copy of "Tomorrow Waits" I picked up the other night at the show -- looking forward to the follow-up!
Sorry to miss you in Charleston. Now I've been to Vermont, Germany, Indianapolis, and Myrtle Beach, but still no Silent Kids. When is Corn Dog Fest-a-rama again?
