Silent No More Awareness is a Campaign whereby Christians make the public aware of the devastation abortion brings to women and men. The campaign seeks to expose and heal the secrecy and silence surrounding the emotional and physical pain of abortion. Our goals are to:
• Educate the public that abortion is harmful emotionally, physically and spiritually to women, men and families, so that it becomes unacceptable for anyone to recommend abortion as a 'fix' for a problem pregnancy.
• Reach out to people hurt after abortion, encouraging them to attend abortion after-care programs. Invite those who are ready to break the silence by speaking the truth about abortion's negative consequences and the path to healing.
• Share our personal testimonies of hurt and healing to help others avoid the pain of abortion.
The Silent No More Awareness butterfly logo expresses the transformation of a woman when she has experienced help and healing after abortion. The transformation of a caterpillar in a cocoon into a beautiful butterfly captures the change that happens to women when they experience God's love and forgiveness.
I remember when I was pregnant... and the person who I had trusted and received love and protection from, abandoned me. He had just left town on business, told me he wasn't going to marry me, said he thought I should abort his child that I was carrying, and had asked me to move out of the house we were living in.
For 2 months before the abortion my world was nothing but a whirlwind of emotional pandemonium. Hopes and dreams crushed. The people who were supposed to care about me, didn't. And I had an abortion to appease all of them. All my life, I had never had the stand-up person to be a protector and defender of my personal well-being. My heart was broken into little tiny pieces. The abortion took those pieces of my heart and scattered them into a wasteland.
BUT
My story, doesn't end with continual sadness as a life in the gutter... filled with depression, guilt and shame.
Because there was somebody named JESUS ~ Emmanuel: my God is with me, the Lily of the Valley, the bRiGhT morning star, THE way, the truth and the LIFE, a Rock of all ages, the Resurected King, Lion and Lamb .... and He never left me! He reached down with that nail-scared hand and picked me up. He called me his own. The great sheppard took this stray beloved sheep and carried me back. He filled me with His word, the Bread of Life. He filled me with living water from His well!
He spoke to me and showed me that perfect beating heart of His that is at the right hand of the Father, ever living to make intercession for me, ever living to be my Holy Advocate. He clothed me with a robe of righteousness, He covered me with the healing that is in His wings. He showed me He is the "Kinsman-Redeemer"... a redeemer has to be 1) of the same type as the one being redeemed, and 2) they have to be willing and able. He is all those qualifications! He came as a man. He was willing and He was able.
I heard Him say "I MADE myself your sin, I MADE myself your shame, I MADE myself your curse, so that YOU could be R I G H T E O U S and stand before the Father with no guilt, no condemnation, no sin."
So, I take His cup of salvation! I feast my eyes on Him, His beauty, His loving-kindness. And I hear the Father say "This is my beloved daughter, In Whom I am well-pleased" because I am "in the beloved."
Are you suffering from an abortion??
See my Jesus and He WILL make you whole... let me show him to you.
Let the touch of Jesus RECREATE you
~Isaiah 61:1-3,7~
The Spirit of the Lord god is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the physical and spiritual captives and the opening of the prision and of the eyes to theose who are bound, To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, the year of His favor, and day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn. To grant consolation and joy to those who mourn in Zion - to give them an ornament, a garland or diadem of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment expressive of praise instead of a heavy burdened and failing spirit - that they may be called oaks of righteousness, lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God, the planting of the Lord that He may be glorified. Instead of your former shame you shall have a twofold recompense; instead of dishonor and reproach your people shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double what they had forfeited; everlasting joy shall be theirs. I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul will exult in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
~~Sweet daughter! Receive your ornament of beauty. Receive the oil of joy poured over you. Receive the garment of praise. Receive the robe of righteousness, He has covered you with it! He calls you an oak of righteousness, He calls you to Himself so that He might be glorified! He gives glory to Himself by taking you and calling you His very own. Take and drink from His cup of salvation, healing, and wholeness. God is a gentleman, He will not force you to drink from the cup. You must choose to drink it on your own. You drink from His cup by believing what His Word says about you. Take the water from the Word and be filled with overflowing joy...the overflow of a forgiven soul!
"Your sun will never set; your moon will not go down. For the Lord will be your everlasting light. Your days of mourning will come to an end.

EVERLASTING FLOWERS Luke 8, versus 11 - 15 In the garden of your life, you choose the path you take, Jesus Christ, your Saviour's hand holds the weeding rake. Just let Him lead you daily along His lighted path, Steadily along life's ways, He'll guide you with His staff. If you choose the HARD path, you're not in the garden at all, Please open your ears and heart to the Saviour's call. Don't take the STONY ground, Jesus never promised us a life of ease. He knows its never easy not to do just as you please. Your bound to hit some THORNY patches as your garden starts to grow, Just confess your failures to Him, His love He wants you to know. Then from the GOOD soil, you will be, all fertilized with Himself, You will be a prize bloom shining, not some seeds left on the shelf. For when you bloom and grow, with God's rising sap of love, The seeds of life will scatter with a never-ending source of love

Because God loves me, he stands with me when I have reached the rock bottom of despair; when I see the real me and compares that with His righteousness, holiness, beauty, and love. It is at a moment like this that I can really believe that God loves me.
Yes, the greatest of all gifts is God’s perfect love!
Heard Georgette's story last night at RTL Michigan dinner. Thank you for your transparency! God is certainly Large and in Charge! God Bless post abortive women!
"Psalms 118:4 Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place. 6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? Proverbs 11:8 The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead. Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?"
To stand strong in this spiritual battle is our part. It is God's power that provides the victory when we stand strong. Our God fights for us.
Salutations, I’m going through my friends’ list one prayer at a time, lifting your needs and that of your family before the throne of God. Here is a reminder from God’s Word: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35 To me this seems an awesome ambition – to love others as Christ loves us. We cannot do it in our own power, but only as we allow the fountain of His love to bubble up in our hearts and flow out to those around us. May your fountain overflow more and more each day as you grow in the certainty of His love for you. Many blessings from your friend, who is Dedicated to Christ (aka Tammy) http://dedicatedwriter.blogspot.com
