Silhouettes was created by two members of the grunge band Circus Of Rebel Apes: Edu Carmona and Edu Aparicio. During C.O.R.A.’s life both musicians composed acoustic songs with the guitar, and when the band was dissolved in December 2008, they decided to join their works and compose new songs together by creating this new project. Though Silhouettes is an acoustic project, in some songs there's some electronic parts (keyboards and effects), mainly used as a background. The best example is "My time", in which the electronic base and elements are a significant part. All songs are natural and honest in all ways, and both music and lyrics are at the service of each other, that's why the musical arrangements try to finish off the meaning of the words. Finally, it's also important to mention that Silhouettes' songs talk about real stories and situations, normally based on personal experiences, and they can either be objectively or subjectively interpreted due to the mix of fantasy, symbolism and realism of its lyrics. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Silhouettes fue creado por dos miembros del grupo de grunge Circus Of Rebel Apes: Edu Carmona y Edu Aparicio. Durante la existencia de C.O.R.A. ambos músicos componían de forma paralela temas acústicos con la guitarra y, cuando la banda se disolvió en Diciembre de 2008, decidieron poner en común la creatividad de cada uno en este nuevo proyecto. A pesar de ser un proyecto acústico, en algunas canciones hay cierto apoyo electrónico (teclados, efectos), hasta el punto que en el tema "My time" la parte electrónica toma gran protagonismo. Las canciones son naturales y sinceras en todos los sentidos: la música está al servicio de las letras y viceversa, por ello los arreglos musicales intentan matizar el significado de las palabras. Por último, cabe destacar que las canciones cuentan historias y situaciones reales, normalmente basadas en experiencias personales, que pueden interpretarse tanto objetivamente como subjetivamente debido a la mezcla de simbolismo, fantasía y realidad con la que están escritas.
