Back in May 2003, after eight years of activity, the pop-up band Tongue decided to put an end to their projects.
Three of its members (Sebastien Wilkin, Gauthier Crickx and Joachim Cliquet), desperately seeking for new horizons, started very quickly to rehearse again and, little by little, found a musical sphere that pleased them all : electro-pop, smooth and quiet but not sedative !, very melodic, where the voice is used as an instrument rather than as the spokesperson of a defined message.
The band Silicon was born !
Somewhere in between the likes of The Notwist, The Beatles, Lali Puna, Stereolab and The Postal Service, Silicon has found their sound and music.
Feeling pretty good in this universe, the band has decided to go even further.
In 2005, Silicon starts with the studio sessions to record the favorite songs from their catalogue.
Today, Silicon members are very proud to present their first album! They work hard to prepare concerts with David Hougardy (Sweek's guitar).
