Silicon Monk is a LIVE ELECTRONIC ACT that was created by musical artist Benjamin Ross Frimmer in the fall of 1999, while still a student at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachussetts.
After graduating, Ben moved out west to find work in audio production in Los Angeles. After the collapse of the traditional music industry (and the birth of the digital), Ben and his college roomate Will Werwath sought refuge from the dog-eat-dog world of the music business and set up shop in Flagstaff, Arizona. There, they helped to create a Electronic/Funk band entitled "Lobe." Due to financial problems, Ben was forced to leave the band and eventually wound up in Missoula, Montana - where he joined a nationally touring Live Electronic Band entitled "Signal Path." Silicon Monk was put on hold to totally devote himself to the Path.
After touring for some time with Signal Path (as a keyboardist), Ben had the opportunity to visit Israel. The country's deep culture, history, and phenomenal musical scene made such an impression that Ben decided to move permanently to the country of his ancestors. He has been living in Israel ever since.
Now based in Tel Aviv, SILICON MONK is reforming its memebers and refining its sound, while beginning to perform in Israel. While still mainly the project of Benjamin Frimmer, Silicon Monk is working with other talented musicians and electronic artists to develop what Ben hopes to be a very new style of electronic music performance. Combining Live Keyboards, Vocals, Guitars, Bass and Drums, Silicon Monk dives deep into many different genres of music - including PsyTrance, House, Trip-Hop, Jungle, Rock and Orchestral. During a Silicon Monk concert the audience experiences a true rollercoaster ride of energy - everything from relaxing grooves to intense orchestral psytrance anthems. Combined with the visual aspect of live musicians and theme-based performances (in the style of Pink Floyd's "The Wall") - Silicon Monk is trying its hardest to bring true song composition and instrumental performance into the realm of electronic music.

We're glad to announce that SEEK IRONY is signing Management and Record contracts with new and emerging American record label - AKSEL Management Group/AKSEL Records based in Las Vegas, Nevada,USA.
SEEK IRONY's single "Everything We Are", feat. Rab Zgheib, is the first release on AKSEL Records. Through out the next few months, SEEK IRONY will be heading towards the USA, into the studio to record its first official album, which is scheduled for a world wide release in 2008.
Expect a HUGE "Single Release Party" on the 20th of December @ the "MEIMAD HA HAMISHI", TelAviv!! : )
