Baze and his silly friends is a musical group aimed at introducing music to young kids
(ages two and up) through fun, interactive, age appropriate concerts and CDs,
while partnering with youth organizations in need.
Baze and His Silly Friends was formed by Marc Bazerman in 2006 after the birth of his first son, Jude.
His first CD “One Little Smile” evolved out of partial songs Marc would sing to his son.
Once the CD was done, his goal was to entertain children ages two and up with all-original songs,
ranging in style from Rock-and-Roll to Reggae. Each song incorporates a positive,
uplifting theme while introducing children to different styles of music and instruments.
Tracks from the “One Little Smile” are currently being played on the Radio
and Internet Radio in the United States and Canada.
Marc felt it was important to become involved with youth charities - in particular,
one that was close to his heart. With Autism rates reaching one in every 150 kids nationwide
(and in his home state of New Jersey, a staggering one in every 94 kids) Marc realized that not enough was
being done about Autism. In November 2007 Marc signed Baze and his silly friends to become
a proud sponsor of Autism Speaks. As a result, a portion of each CD sold goes to help the cause.
Baze and his silly friends are also currently speaking to POAC (Parents of Autistic Children),
a New York/New Jersey based organization that puts on children’s concerts with proceeds
benefiting families with children who have autism. Some of the other sponsors currently working with
POAC are musician Chris Daughtry and musical group Candle Box.
Baze and his silly friends (BAHSF) now consists of four dads who have a total of seven kids
(from different mothers of course!).Brian Rund on Guitar and Vocals, Tom Haddad on Drums and Matt Volpe on Bass joined the band in 2007 to complete the lineup.
Marc and Brian are the main songwriters and
they gain inspiration from all of the real-life experiences they have
with their families to create new and exciting songs. A new CD is in the works, which will consist of 15
original songs, with themes that children can rock and relate to.
The content of the songs cover topics such as a dealing with a new addition to the family, growing up,
the use of your imagination and even going to the bathroom. The witty lyrics talk to
the kids, but never down to them. One of the most important aspects of their music is that
they try to write material that won’t drive a parent mad after listening to it over and over again. As every
parent knows, kids love to do that! The new CD titled “Toddlerville” is slated for release by summer 2008.
This is definitely "Children’s Music for Kids of all Ages"!
Baze will donate $1.00 from each cd sale to help fight autism.

It went good. I was on stage with AudraRox...she knows how to move a crowd. Disney and Nick was there. She introduced me to their reps. Audra likes to see people progress. Bill Childs is also awesome..His daughter was there. It was all types of music genres there.
