POR LAURA BATTICANI...::::Fue una noche magica. pasaron tantas cosas lindas. cuando FRIDO y sus poemas menciono por ejemplo, que a coco le gustaban los COCTEAU TWINS, aparecio su guitarrista( ROBIN GUTHRIE ), que esta aqui en lima haciendo conciertos. fue magico. luego, cuando CARLOS de Tsunamikill tocaba, salieron todas las imagenes de fotos que tienen juntos, hasta las dedicatorias de los cds, como si se hubiera sido al proposito. CARLOS CRIMINAL estuvo muy emocional y tocaron como los dioses llevando una rosa roja en el escenario. THEREMYN 4 Y RESPLANDOR, tambien estubieron exelentemente bien. la gente reboso la capacidad del centro cultural CASA DE ESPAÑA y mucha gente se quedo fuera. fue un exito. luego al final, los concurrentes fueron hacia la plaza WASHINGTON, con globos estampados con el logo de CIELO con helio,soltando todos los globos ,que se fueron por el aire y todos gritamos adios...adios. fue un momento precioso,ver globos blancos en el CIELO de lima

Since the early nineties Mario and Coco aka Silvania have been instrumental to the South-American & Spanish underground psychedelic/shoegaze music culture. Its first full length titles "Miel Nube Hiel") was brought to Valencia, España from its homeland of Lima, Perú in 1992.. They have created a sound equivalent to Slowdive, My Bloody valentine, & Lush by mixing perfectly executed pop songs with a heavy shoegazer sound. They were signed to the great Spanish Indie Label Elephant Records, in 1993 they released "En Cielo De Oceano" and in 1994 they released "Paisaie III" , in 1995 they released the single "Avalovara", in 1998 they released "Naves Sin Puertos" which is considered Silvania's best record to date. The new Silvania album "Solineide Says 1991 1993", includes the debut LP long out of print as well as unpublished demo from 1991. Silvania is now the new wave band Cielo.

Eterno Amor by Colores en Espiral, was originally released as a very limited CD edition in 2003 in Peru. It was the result of the work of Edison Carhuaricra Perez and Oscar Cirineo Villanueva between 1999 and 2003. The limited size of the edition did not keep it from becoming a classic work and an important example of the electronic experimental scene developing in the city of La Oroya, Peru during the last decade. This internet edition is part of a series of releases by discos invisibles/dinet that documents, preserves and makes available the works of musical experimentation produced in one of the most polluted but musically prolific cities of Peru.
