Silver City is the name of this duo formed by Fernando Pulichino and Julian Sanza. They started to play music together in 1999 in a group called Ciudad Feliz, led by Julian, in their hometown Mar del Plata the main beach resort in Argentina, they release their debut album "Barrenador" in the year 2000 through Buenos Aires deep house label Estatus Discos.
Ciudad Feliz began to move further into their recording career as they got signed to 75th House Street, Silver Network in France and Aquarious (this time as Underground Sound of Argentina) in Canada.
These early releases caused a stir amongst the international house DJs around the globe and some of the tracks have been featured on some high profile compilations like House Legends Vol.1 compiled by Juan Atkins.
Moved to London in 2002 Ciudad Feliz splits and Julian and Fernando continues working together and sends a demo CD to 2020 Vision, after few phone calls they offer them a 3 singles and one album deal. Silver City is born!
Their two debut 2020 EP's; "1969" and "Elastic" showcased their superb, bass heavy deep and driving sound over six tracks. "Say Hi" and "BlaBlaBlah EP" saw the guys move into more live instrumentation and even adding their own vocals.
Then July 2005 they had their album "Silver City" out on 2020 vision wich they have been promoting constantly with live performances (featuring electric bass played by Fernando and keyboards by Julian) around the globe. The album singles also featured outstanding remixes from Ewan Pearson, Lindtsrom, Spirit Catcher, Boogie Corp, Phonogenic and Simon Baker.
In December 2005 they've done an EP on Deep Frezee Recordings called "Dubby" with remixes from Soul Mecanik.
More recently we can also heard them thru remixes they've done for Nick Fanciulli, Laid and Dubious as well on productions under their alias "The Spirals" on Silicone Soul's label "Darkroom Dubs".
At last but not least since 2003 they are also two parts of the eight-legged groove machine that is 2020 Soundsystem alongside Ralph Lawson and Dubble D, playing high profile shows around the world.
