Greetings! This is the homebase headquarters for our organization of music lovers loosely operated by Byron and Sim from The Albert Square. We hold a fairly simple agenda and it is to help foster music in all its forms as much as we can.
We currently are booking shows at Works San Jose Art Gallery located at 451 S. 1st Street, San Jose, CA. This is a new project that we're trying and although the acoustics may not be the best, we more than make up for it in heart! Though we're just making this shit up as we go along, we try to run this place with some guidelines in mind that we really encourage people to follow:
1. Have fun!!! Obviously.
2. DONATE to bands and BUY they shits!!! Bands who play here are ones we believe in and don't do it for any reason but for the love of music. Donating and buying merch is the best way to make sure they are able to keep making music. SUPPORT LOCAL BANDS!!!
3. Don't be a dick. Respect the gallery, bands, and the people at the shows. More obviousness.
4. Show are ALWAYS free or cheap and never more expensive than they have to be. We want to keep money from becoming a barrier to generating interest in music and bands as much as possible. Just come!!!
We want shows to be fun, safe, and inclusive. If you want to book a show or even a whole bill, contact us!! We want this to become as widespread as possible with a growing community in the music scene.
