O Silvercrow iniciou suas atividades em 2001, com a linha criativa direcionada ao Heavy Metal, mesclando outros estilos musicais, de acordo com as influências adquiridas por cada integrante com suas experiências individuais. Atualmente, a banda é formada por Bruno Arantes (baixo), Bernardo Silveira (vocal), Joanes Júnior (bateria), André Milagres (guitarra), Paulo Henrique (guitarra/vocal).

O nome Silvercrow foi resgatado de histórias criadas por um ex-membro da banda, Adilson. O significado literal seria “Corvo Prateado”, mas o contexto nos revela mais: é o Deus do Renascimento, uma entidade que surge em situações extremas, quando não há mais esperanças para a humanidade. Assim como os corvos que têm por hábito se alimentar de restos, limpando o ambiente dos vestígios de putrefação, sua missão é dizimar, sem piedade, tudo o que cause dor, tristeza e aflição. Das ruínas de um mundo antes decadente e moribundo, o Silvercrow promove o retorno da vida e da prosperidade, até que sua volta seja necessária.

Em novembro de 2006 o Silvercrow lançou o seu “debut” (Silvercrow), totalmente independente, contendo seis de suas composições. Desde então o trabalho vem obtendo ótima receptividade por parte do público e da crítica.

Vencedora de prêmios em festivais musicais e com crescente reconhecimento no cenário de Belo Horizonte e de algumas cidades do interior de Minas, atualmente a banda se encontra em processo de finalização de seu próximo álbum. Refletindo amadurecimento e versatilidade, o Silvercrow promete 11 faixas inéditas, calcadas no melhor do Heavy Metal.

Silvercrow has started its activities in 2001, with its creative line based on the Heavy Metal together with other musical styles, according to the individual influences of each band member. Currently the band is formed by Bruno Arantes (bass), Bernardo Silveira (vocals), Joanes Júnior (drums), André Milagres (guitars) and Paulo Henrique (guitars/vocals).

The name “Silvercrow” was taken from stories created by an ex-member of the band, Adilson. It represents the God of Rebirth, an entity that surges in extreme situations, where there is no more hope for the future of mankind. Just like the crows, which clean the environment with the habit of feeding from remains, the Silvercrow has the mission to dizimate, without mercy, everything that causes pain, sadness and suffering. From the ruins of a world on the verge of destruction, Silvercrow promotes the return of life and prosperity, until his return is again necessary.

In November-2006 Silvercrow released its first independent work, with 6 compositions. Since then the band has been obtaining great receptivity from public and specialized media.

Award-winner at several musical festivals and with growing recognition at Belo Horizonte and Minas Gerais metal scenario, the band is currently finishing its next album, which will reflect the band’s development and versatility. The new CD will contain 11 new compositions, carved from the best of the Heavy Metal style.
