Silver Eclipse is a four member band from Tuscarawas County that plays classic and modern rock covers and originals. Their music and style appeal to an audience of all ages and generations. Even though all of the band members are still in their teens, their musical talents far exceed what many people would ever expect from a group at this age…
The band was started due to the creative genius of it's two original members, Stephen Tripp and Bradon Smith. Two friends sharing the same passion for music and love of performing. After "jamming" for about a year they decided it was time to put their talents to use, not only as a way of potentially making some money, but mainly for the fun of playing. They added their current bass player, Christopher Tripp and started a small venture in the art of live performance. Originally performing under the title "Mothers Nightmare", the band has undergone several changes over the years including a new name "Silver Eclipse" along with a change of band members. The band's newest member, Sam VanFossen, was brought in to complete the intricate vocal harmonies and add depth to the rhythm section of the group.
Together, these four talented musicians - each with a desire to pursue a future in music - put forth an energy and performance that any audience is sure to enjoy.
