Silver Medals started shortly after Thunder Bay, Ontario's Sueisfine disbanded. After taking some time off from music, Ray Smith, Todd Williamson, and Craig Delin started jamming and writing songs. After writing a few tunes, Craig needed to move away due to lack of jobs in Northern Ontario. Ian Monteith (from local band Man Garden) started playing bass in Craig's departure. However, after a few jams it was decided that Ian was better suited to play guitar. Harris had recently ceased playing bass (in local band The Wayback where he now rocks the guitar) and was happy to pick it up again. In early 2009, Craig moved back to Thunder Bay and the group was complete.
Silver Medals will be recording in Summer 2009, and will have T-shirts for sale at our shows!
