A lot of people only work in music or film, but by keeping one foot firmly planted in each pot, we double the cross-promotion opportunities for our artists. Besides, rock stars want to be movie stars and movie stars want to be rock stars, so we might as well get straight to it then, right?
We're going to show you things that are new. There's no glitz, glam or bam. Just a straight-up approach filled with integrity and fueled by a high-octane passion for doing what we love - film and music PR.

Brian Vander Ark, lead vocalist and principle songwriter of The Verve Pipe, sat down with Doug Podell at WRIF. Brian's new album is "Angel, Put Your Face On".
ANOTHER BIG PREMIERE FOR "BROKEN", THE AWARD-WINNING INDEPENDENT FILM MADE FOR ONLY $985: After winning awards at film festivals and hosting big premieres in Detroit and Cleveland, the cast and crew of "Broken" returned for a special premiere in Grand Rapids, Michigan where part of the movie was shot. Co-director Derek Justice, lead actor David Gries and leading lady Aziza Poggi (of Dendura) chatted about the movie with Stephanie Webb, a host of the popular "Take Five" program on WZZM TV, the ABC TV affiliate in Grand Rapids. The original screenplay for "Broken" also advanced to the top 250 finalists (Of about 7,000 entries) for season one of "Project Greenlight", the Bravo TV series sponsored by Miramax, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Watch for "Broken" coming soon to DVD.
DENDURA JOINS UNEXPECT (CANADA) AND SHADOWSIDE (BRAZIL) AT FLIGHT OF THE VALKYRIES, THE ONLY ALL FEMALE-FRONTED METAL FESTIVAL IN THE USA ... Dendura recently signed with KillZone Records, scored distro with Nightmare Records for "New Life", their debut CD, and the band willbe recording their next album with a Grammy-winning producer. In late June, watch for Dendura with Unexpect (Canada) and Shadowside (Brazil) in St. Paul, MN, at Flight of the Valkyries, the only all female-fronted metal festival in the USA.
WATCH FOR JAMIE MC CARTHY IN EPISODE 8 OF "CED N TERI": SPIN magazine will be sponsoring Jamie McCarthy's CD release party for his new album "Salvation" this summer and the details are coming soon. In the meantime, watch for Jamie in Episode 8 of "Ced N Teri", the hilarious new series that gives new meaning to "sit" coms. Jamie performs his new song "I'd Rather Be Ced N Teri" and also has a hilarious cameo as a repo guy.
WHAT'S NEW WITH VALLONICKA FILMS? Sara Stepnicka and Anthony Vallone of ValloNicka Films were recently hanging out backstage with Cetan Clawson (center, second photo) at the Comerica CityFest in Detroit. The Bloids (SXSW/South by Southwest 2007/2008), The Cetan Clawson Revolution (As seen on Fox TV), Bedford Drive (The Warped Tour, Detroit), Mindizade (Monroe), Presley (Boston) and Anilore (NYC) are among the bands whose music will be featured in their forthcoming feature film "Sometimes in Life". Although the film is still in post production, the Sundance Channel will review the finished film for possible broadcast on their network. "The Mongol King", the first feature from ValloNicka films, also garnered an unusual distinction as one of the five lowest-budget films ever to score a distribution deal. The film, shot for only $7,000, even edged out Robert Rodriguez's groundbreaking film "El Mariachi". Sara will also appear in a forthcoming documentary about women in the film industry and Anthony will also be co-producing a forthcoming horror movie with a producer of "Deadwood" and "Gilmore Girls".
