An explosion in a munitions factory detroys large areas of Silvertown in London's East end. The explosion is heard over 100 miles away as far as Southampton and Norwich. The resulting fire can be seen from as far as 30 miles away.

Acid-blues rock trio, The Council disband and join forces with former Mogadishu Syndrome front-man, Joshua C Edwards and former Anderson's Council singer, Brian Darcy.
The resulting powerful blend of blues, rock, indie, pop and dance is called THE SILVERTOWN EXPLOSION.
