About me:
I am an artist, a sister, daughter, aunt and friend. I'm always making something or drawing something or thinking about a future project and I try to learn new things as often as I can. I live for those energetic brain-storming conversations that fuel your mind; for laughing so long and hard that your muscles ache and you forget why you started; and for the dizzy feeling of falling in love, when you know the other person feels the same way. I am a firm believer in passing on heartfelt good things - compliments, gestures, kind words and gratitude.
And now some random good things. Just because.*
Standing in the snow when it's so quiet, you can hear the snowflakes landing at your feet. Curling up by a fire in the winter with a good book. The smell of sun-warmed shoulders on a hot day. Laughing until it hurts. Having totally absurd, irrelevant conversations with good friends. Freshly made beds. Wandering through sun-dappled forests. Smiling yourself to sleep. Hearing a song that's so good, you feel like you already know it. A full moon with rainbow-tinted clouds drifting across it. Sudden summer thunderstorms. That weird yellow-tinted air that happens when the sun is passing through heavy clouds. Discovering a book so good that you get giddy at the thought of reading the next chapter. Getting lost in a foreign city.
*for their own sake, and to express what kinds of things make me pause in appreciation... but also in protest against the dozens of profiles that say nothing substantial or imaginative.
