Album: „Love is Paramount“

Recently, a lot could be read about Silvia Dias - ... about her newly released single album ‚Thank you’, climbing higher and higher in the German airplaycharts ... about her incredible story of having actually been born on stage...! In addition, in 2007, she was able to impress the top management of a global shoe producer so much that they signed Silvia into a long term contract. As Silvia Dias - the „Voice of Papillio“ she now has her own show collection which is in the meantime selling successfully around the world.

Even as a young girl, Silvia has captured audiences with her marvelous voice and was asked to perform at renouned events such as the Montreux Jazz Festival or the am Musikfestival Belfort in the age of 16. More recently Silvia sung many Radio Jingles, the title song for a TV series on German ZDF and contributed the title melody for Europe wide ad campaign in the cinemas across the continent. With such kind of experience and exposure, no wonder that she has now stepped up to show her great talent within an own album.

After 4 years of dedicated work, SILVIA DIAS will publish her debut album ‚Love is paramount’ on January 23rd, 2009. A well-made CD package with many stylish pictures of Silvia catches your attention first. The 12 songs are printed on thick, glossy paper and include the beautiful lyrics. And when you listen to the sound track, you notice how much effort was put into the high quality of the entire production. A grand orchestra and top musicians have played the songs, Ronald Prent, known from working also for bands like Police, Elton John, Herbert Grönemeyer or Peter Maffay lovingly mixed all songs and Grammy Award Winner Darcy Proper (Eric Clapton, AC/DC) put in her best to master everything into the great piece of music art is has come to be.

A sneak preview of the album could already be heard on Radio with Silvia’s release of the first two singles ‚Realize’, which will soon also be heard on RTL TV for some weeks and with ‚Thank You’, which is the title song of a large scale charity in the state of NRW, Germany.

The entire album ‚Love is Paramaount’ is an honest, hand-made production with it’s own atmosphere. All 12 songs are a beautiful harmony of heart felt music and poetic lyrics taking you to another long lost world of love and freedom. Unusually extensive arrangements of Silvias impressive voice, powerful guitars and wonderful orchestral arrangements are the handwriting of SILVIA DIAS in this first of hopefully many appearance yet to come.
