Nacido y criado en París, donde sus raíces musicales reggae-dub se alimentaron de hip hop mediante su incursión en la cultura graffiti, y de techno y house escuchando a varios artistas, a los 17 años Simbad se radicó en Córdoba, Argentina.
En 1996 inició su carrera de dj en clubs y ámbitos culturales. Co-organizó diversos ciclos multidisciplinarios e integró el colectivo Diálogo Beat junto a artistas sonoros, audiovisuales y literarios de Córdoba. Participó de grandes eventos como Brahma Beats, 1Live!, Creamfields y SónarSound Buenos Aires. Entre los artistas con los que identifica su estilo y ha compartido cabina podemos mencionar a Sammy Dee, Matthew Dear, Cabanne, Troy Pierce, Ricardo Villalobos y Richie Hawtin.
Sus sets suenan con regularidad en Buenos Aires en el ciclo mensual Soup, junto a Carlos Alfonsín y Cristóbal Paz, y en distintas fechas semanales que lo transportan a lo largo del país… Para tener una muestra visiten su registro exclusivo para el reconocido sitio Resident Advisor (podcast 122). ///
