Special thanks must also go to our ex-members Verity Smith (drums) and Matt Rogers (bass) without whom there would be no Sim Card.
Sounds Like
Sim Card have elements of Radiohead, Coldplay, The Smiths, The Cure and The Levellers. Please listen for yourself as there are four tracks on this site. Or better yet see us live in 2007 at some dodgy beer sticky venue.
SIM Card for the Soul are a controversial Birmingham-based group whose love and hate of modern life resonates through their music. It fills the apparent void of intelligent melodic rock music with songs covering subjects as diverse as accusations of animal abuse or a melancholic commute on a motorway. The lyrics may be bleak and depressing but the sound is rounded and uplifting.
Please also check out Daniel Tuladhar's MySpace-Site - I'm proudly producing his VERY Hot DEBUT ALBUM coming out soon;-)) So you're always welcome to check out our websites for updates.. Thanks a lot!
Ps. COME BACK anytime to SEE and HEAR what's New.. And TELL ME what YOU think about the MUSIC:-)))
Interested in the Live room that Myself and Marshall are DJing at Chaos?
We will be running a room without agenda as a Metal, Emo, Hip Hop and D&B room are in place we will be covering Rock that’s not covered by other rooms in the club or Birmingham for that matter.
Everything from Stoner to Electro this will be the room for No Big Hit Singles without being crippled by keeping a dancefloor going as we’re having live bands and more of a bar atmosphere.
If you’ve been to Square, Taking Back Monday, Destination, or Tribal then you will be familiar with our style. Our Rock has balls and a groove and here’s hoping you enjoy it as much as we will.
The long and short Is that you need to be there on the first night.
So if you can gather your friends and make this a big deal this could be an amazing room in an amazing club.
Room 1: Rock, Metal, Hardcore & grunge with Manu, Ben and Maxi Browne.
Room 2: Live Bands and Random Awesomeness with Timmo and Marshall.
Room 3: Ska, Punk, Emo & Alternative with Dave Timms.
Room 4: Hip-Hop & Dn'B with White Girls Can't Scratch.
Happy?
