Music
I am into anyone with real talent. James Blunt, John Mayer, Joe Cocker, Green Day, Billy Talent, SR-71... The real song writers. I like the singers who have been there, and sing about real things that they experienced. I also like Old school metal and punk/alternative.. Metallica was all I listened to in the late 80s early 90s, Ministry, Rob Zombie,.. I am also into The Offspring, Nirvana. Basically... any band or singer with real talent impresses me, I don't really care which genre as long as the talent is there.
Movies
been a long time since there were any good films but I did really enjoy the new "TMNT" film for animation quality, and I also thought "Transformers" was a lot of fun. Best movies of all times... "The Incredibles", "Princess Bride", "Matrix" (before they messed it up by doing the other 2), "Empire Strikes Back", "Usual Suspects", "Rosencranz and Guildenstern are Dead", "Raiders of the Lost Arc", "Return of the King", "torque" (just kidding), and anything with Angelina Joalie showing some skin (we love her).
Television
I LOVE THE UFC and get all the fights on PPV, thank god for Dana White turning it into a real sport.. We watch "house", "Journeyman", "the Unit", "Law and Order SVU", and "Criminal Minds" (action/suspense/drama shows). We also watch "Ultimate Fighter" when that is going on (it's hard to stop my wife from licking the TV though). and of course COLBERT!!! and STUART!!!.
Books
Currently reading Ayn Rand's book "Atlas Shrugged", and it's making me want to quit my job. I loved "Freakanomics!". I enjoy obscure books on Quantum Physics, and Math. My favorite books are "Starship Troopers", "Fight Club", "Snow Crash", "Ender's Game" (I also enjoyed Ender's Shadow), and I am a big fan of all the "Harry Potter" books.

I grew up in Northern VA / DC (go Redskins), and then have pretty much lived all over the place. I started out as an effects animator moving around quite a bit from Savannah to Atlanta to North Adams MA to Vancouver BC and now to Orlando Florida. I loved Vancouver, and love Canada, but missed home too much, we are loving our new lives in Orlando.
I am really into mixed martial arts, used to fight back in the mid 90s for a bit, but decided to take the Art School road rather than making a living out of it. I hate meat-head jocks, and although I work out religiously and play sports, I will never be a "jock". I also love anything with wheels..
Who I'd like to meet: Brad Bird. I think everything he touches becomes brilliant. The golden years of "the Simpsons", to "Iron Giant", to "the Incredibles". I would like to one day work for, or learn from Brad, he seems to be able to extract perfection from his artists. Dana White, just to shake his hand for making the UFC a real sport.
