   About Simon and the witch
'Simon and the Witch' is currently just me, Andrew. I also sing and play the guitar in Gwildor. Gareth helped me out by playing organ on 'The hand that wrote the letter' and also the second guitar part on 'Farewell all you fishermen'.

My first gig will be under a thatch roof at a great little night (fittingly) called Under the Thatch Roof, in Wrexham in September 2009. I'm looking for equally interesting venues to play so get in touch.

I'm afraid to say 'Farewell all you fishermen' is yet another sea obsessed track. I think I'd like a little house somewhere on the west Wales coast. Maybe that way I would stop writing songs about the sea! Who knows.

Say hello if you like the songs.

Hello music makers of Wales,

Tonight's show will be a glorious affair, we have a live session from the wonderful Georgia Ruth Williams; DJ Fuzzyfelt is coming in with some hot new sounds from the Sin Roc Gymraeg; Glow will be forced at microphone point to talk about their debut album, 'I, Yeah!'; Soundhog will be shaking out some fascinating and inspirational music from his record box and we'll be hearing about why one of Wales' foremost music venues, The Point in Cardiff is under threat and what music fans around Wales are doing to try and save it.

*AND* -- of course -- the finest new music from around Wales. The 'Demo of the Week' has still not been awarded [deadline is 3pm this afternoon]. So please send your finest new tracks as high quality .mp3's to:

Your voice reminds me of Guy Garvey, and that's a lovely thing, deep and thick with emotion.
The song sounds lovely too! Beth
