About Simon Berkovitch
Simon born in 1982 into a musical surrounding family, in early 1990's moved with his entire family from eastern Russia to Israel, and in Israel he had his first taste of electronic dance music from watching mtv its was a "love from the first sound"
Sense a little boy Simon was inspired and interested in the construction of music , his first actual toy was an old turntable of his parents .
At the age 14 started to create his own tunes with a simple dos software, without knowing notes and sheets Simon was able to play any melody that he heard or wanted to bring to his tune.
At 2000 everything stopped , joining the army prevented him to do any music and sense it was a combat unit there wasn’t much time for music, but did had some time to thinking,
Simon realized that music is what he wants to do , in the year 2003 getting out of the army and gearing him self with new sort of equipment;
"Music is my weapon and sounds are my bullets"
2005,became a dj instructor at "kley zemer" one of the leading music equipment store in Israel, at the same year signed his first single with progressive trance label from Holland "Airmss music".
In the end of 2006 , changing his musical style and releasing his first release with Italian electro label "plastikal mood" ,tracks like "feel putes" and remix of "Mijan – because of you" that got supported by the a.r of the label Nicola viti de Angelis.
2008, Nicola joining Simon to "Borghese Incisioni" as the eastern Europe a.r of the label , with bringing fresh Israeli artist to the label Simon launch's his new project "Mr.Berk" that had full support from The owner of the label Nicola viti de Angelis and releasing his first release as an artist of the label "Lollipos dj" and entering top 10 techno chart of miss motif, latest release "Woap" entered as Beatport 's exclusive, nowadays Simon working on his new projects that going to be released on Borghese under his full name.
At the beginning of 2009 Nicola and Simon engaging a common project and releasing their first release as a duo "Nervosi", and some other surprises on American labels.
