SIMONE DAMIANI plays organ, Rhodes piano and percussion. He started as keyboards player in the power-prog metal band IVORY with SALVATORE VECCHIO on guitar. With Salvatore some years later founded the fusion project ATTITUDE. In 2002 they recorded "Overflowing". "The CD spotlights the formidable soloing ability of the two musicians as they trade off mind-blowingly fast lead work over the high tech fusion instrumentals". Special guests include jazz fusion guitarist RICHARD HALLEBEEK.
In 2000 he left Ivory and he met the Argentinian percussionist LUIS CASIH brought him as organist and pianist into his latin-funky band LA RUMBA A MANO ARMADA and as percussionist in his Latin-jazz quintet. Most of the songs played by La Rumba A Mano Armada are written by Simone.
During 2006 and 2007 he had been living first in New York and then in Sydney. In both places he came in contact with a lot of musicians and artist during the occasional but frequent jam sessions and he started to write, record and perform as DJ some electronic trance music as Neuran, check out www.myspace.com/neuran
At the end of 2007 he got back to Italy and recorded his first solo album "CAPE COD" with SALVATORE VECCHIO on guitars, DIEGO GRASSEDONIO on sax, and MARCOS CASTILLO on bass. the band is called THE HEAVY RUMBA. The album is latin-funky-fusion oriented, check it out on the player on top. ths songs are going to be avayable on i-Tunes starting from september, published by TDMC Records.
Now he performs as percussion player with AHI'NAMA' (Santana Tribute Band) and occasionally with SONJAZZ (cuban traditional) and as organ player with ROOTS REVELATION (Bob Marley tribute band)

Ciao SIMONE DAMIANI! Martedì 14 Luglio si terrà il Meeting Estivo di 3Digital Lab! Per l'occasione si terrà la cerimonia di consegna degli Attestati di Frequenza agli allievi del primo semestre 2009 con relativa proiezione dei lavori da essi svolti; inoltre sarà presentata la nuova offerta formativa 2009/2010 con presentazione dei programmi e dei docenti. Il tutto sarà corredato da un rinfresco ed un piccolo aperitivo per tutti i partecipanti.

An artistic event of techno music and video art performance in the heart of Milan, with the contribution of Box Vision And Galleria Meravigli. The location is very significant being in the historical part of Milan with its typical architecture and charm, it will be a night in which all the positive energy will be released in a city which is often closed to young people and there expressive necessities. The colors of the night and the appropriation of the city center by the youth culture will push aside the greyness and the disturbing chaos that are king during the day. We will once again get together by the "sacred fire" listening and dancing to the rhythm of the drums!
