About me: After working in live audio recording with the likes of de Sade, Mellow Baku (with Freestyle), Joseph Macwan (as Out of Karma) and Sub Rosa (as Purple Patch), I have now set up a private home studio using industry standard equipment... with a twist...
... and the twist is there's no miked drum kit, no guitar amps and no booming bass cabs! How? Read on......
Roland V Drums: The best brand of electronic drums out there. They sound and feel as real as you can get. Electronic drums no longer look and sound like the Simmons kits of old... unless you want them too!
Line 6 Pod XT: All the classic amp, cab and effects simulated in this kidney shaped little box. A guitarist's heaven!! Change tone & volume or add some wah wah with the FBV Express floorboard.
Line 6 Bass Pod XT: As above but catering for those deeper tones...!
Line 6 Pod 2: Got 2 guitarists in your band? no problem, the original Pod still rocks!! Change tones with the FB4 floorboard.
Keyboard: Piano (acoustic and electric), Hammond and Synth sounds all available.
Microphones: Enough to record vocals and backing vocals or an acoustic duo!
Recording: All done via a firewire mixer to PC using Reaper software....
No studio time constraints... record for 2 hours or 2 weeks! Bands, solo artists and acoustic duos all welcomed and catered for. Please message me if you want to use the studio.
