Simon Garrard is a singer/songwriter from london who blends his moving, often anti-establishment lyrics with his alt-folk music. Originally from Surrey he moved to Australia where he started gigging seriously around Melbourne after his first performance at the Old Bar on Brunswick Street. His time down under honed his laid back acoustic style but the bite of his lyrical barbs was never softened.
On his return to England and university in London, Simon played with various bands but eventually settled playing with a Gloucester based band, Vital Logistics. In between work and festival slots with Vital Logistics, Simon found time to record in Inflight Studios with Charlie Khan and so the Dirty Hands E.P was formed. A support slot at the Betsey Trotwood followed and now the search is well and truly begun to find gigs to showcase Simon’s new material.
