we are all really shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of Abby Joyce. i had the pleasure of working on a few tracks with the melbourne based singer and his talent was always incredible to experience. he had an amazing tone and sense of time that i have not seen anywhere else and he was such a warm , enthusiastic guy. he will be missed dearly from all those in the local and international scene that new him and his work. i have uploaded 'prophecy' that we did together , he got it in the second take without ever hearing it, we will miss you mate ....
wishing you all the best for xmas 2008 and looking forward to a great 09 .. take care

Got into music pretty early... when I got my act together and took up jazz/harmony seriously, my ears were drawn automatically to the more funky colour of jazz/groove with guys like Hancock , Zawinul and Duke. It soon became clear to me that wood panelled Synths and the Fender Rhodes would be my thing. I found that if I needed the thick, lush sound I loved from those early recordings, I would have to get to know the original instruments, which begun a less-than-healthy Synth collection and more-than-healthy programming fetish. My aim since then has been to create heavy tunes but keep it all tangible via a strong dose of dancefloor glue
Since then I have focused on just doing what i do.. . i moved from home town Melbourne ( Aust ) via a brief tour with the Incognito crew to Germany in 2002 from there I focused on soul edged house music and remixes, from guys like Reel People, Everything but the Girl and Jamiroquai .. At the moment I am focused on the nu-jazz, layered house, future funk/soul direction of my sound and work towards single and LP releases plus keeping the remixes coming..
Max is 8 in three weeks and is in the race team now at Mt Hotham. I have bought a truck for my PA and life is gooood. Great to hear from you. When do I get to hear your album.
Hey buddy....The snow is really good here. Hope you are well. Drop me a line. My tv show is coming up and I would love to get you on it rockin out in the mud.
