Huge thanks to all who came to our gig at The Mill in Banbury last Saturday. It was a great night from start to finish and really boosts the confidence in relation to putting on our own shows. There's a hell of a lot goes into making it happen though, so I'd like to use this space to again thank all those who contributed to the evening's success. Barry Wickens played a fantastic set to open the show, a perfect mix of Irish, classic and original material which engaged the audience from start to finish. We then played two hour sets either side of an interval with Barry joining us on the first few - what an amazing experience! From where I was sat the newer and older material seemed to be recieved with equal amounts of enthusiasm and satisfaction. With that sort of response and support behind the music I feel it's only a matter of time before these songs are propelled towards a larger audience. Dan and Jan played superbly - massive thanks. And onwards to the next show which is on Saturday, 7.30pm at The Seven Stars in Bristol: The Seven Stars Thomas Lane Redcliffe Bristol BS1 6JG Tel: 0117 3763970 It's free so no excuses! We'll be back there on April 19th too! And we've just recieved some very exciting news of a Charity concert in aid of the Encephalitis Society in June. It's great to be able to support such a worthwhile cause and also play infront of a few household celebrity names! More on that to follow shortly... So, massive thanks again to The Mill and all who attended/helped put it together for me! All the very best, SLF
Steve Harley's fantastic violinist Barry Wicken's will be my special guest on the 21st at Banbury:

Barry is a truly brilliant performer and we are hugely fortunate to have him playing alongside us on the night. It's going to be an exciting show so book now to avoid disappointment!
The show begins at 8pm, here's a link on how to get there and book:
Also, next Saturday at 18.40 we'll be playing an online concert featuring our recent material. BBC Bristol are advertising the event and there will be more information from the people hosting the gig at www. artiststudiosbristol. com/online
Huge thanks to Maria, Finkk and Ciaran Spencer for getting the gig and putting all the artwork together. Look forward to seeing you there!
Happy New Year! Hope you had a healthy Christmas and New Year. We decided to stay in, citing the credit crunch as our excuse for being 'lame' - it was lovely. Watched Elton John play his red piano, which although ITVified itself in epically horrific proportions on occasion, was fantastic when the chubby-fingered virtuoso unleashed ivory moments of champagne wonder all over 'Yellowbrick Road' and 'Pinball Wizard'. Even Steven Gerrard was having as sing-a-long as Elton piped out 'Saturday nights alright for fighting!'
Just been listening to LastFM and one of my tunes popped up on there! That was nice! Hopefully we'll make other radio stations this year - still looking for support and investment to take us on to that elusive next level. Album on the way and the gigs are lining up, keep an eye on the Profile and Comments section - this time next year Rodney...

Many thanks to all who came along to The Seven Stars on Sunday. We had a great time, really enjoyed playing and listening to the other acts. It was a tight squeeze and pretty cosy, but that's exactly what you want on a freezing cold Sunday afternoon isn't it?
Cheers to Alfie who puts on the show there and at The Shore Cafe Bar which is where we're playing next on Sunday 14th December. I'm posting the details on here and the Myspace main page because MYSPACE STILL HAVEN'T FIXED THE UPCOMING GIGS FAULT which is a real shame because THAT'S PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT BIT!?
Me, Annoyed? You bet. Anyway, here's the details for The Shore Cafe Bar:
