About Simon McBride

Simon McBride is a guitar player from Belfast, Northern Ireland. He started playing from the age of 10 years of age and has appeared on many television shows etc over the years. Simon is currently touring the U.K doing demos for Paul Reed Smith Guitars.. He won U.K young guitarist of the year when he was just 15. has demonstrated for marshall amps and is currently the U.K. Demonstrator for PRS Guitars and Framus Amplification. He has played with artists like T.m Stevens, Charlie Morgan, Zorro, Hugh Burns, Slash, Steve Lukather and many more. He played for band called Sweet Savage (Vivian Campbell From def Leppards old band) when he was 16 and recorded two albums with them and has done many festivals with them worldwide.. He also played for Andrew Strong From The Commitments for 4 Years and toured the world with him. Simon is currently has band called the "The Simon Mc Bride Trio". It is guitar/vocals and bass and drums... with two guys Paul hammy Hamilton on drums and Gareth Hughes on Bass.. Simons music has been used for television in the likes of documentarys on american illegal speed racing and on the discovery channel etc.
