[ born in 1980 in the province of Upper Austria ] [ started playing bass at the age of 15 inspired by the musical energy of bass masters like Marcus Miller, Randy Hope Taylor or Stuart Zender ] [ studied electric bass at the university of music and performing arts Vienna as well as at the Birmingham jazz conservatoire ] [ graduated to BA in 2006 ] [ happy being a member of several bands, doing gigs as a session player and creating my own stuff ] [ performing live at clubs, corporate events, theatres with bands like Pacheco, Now Pfow, Purpendicular, Soulicious, Maigeborn, and others ] [ playing the bass because I like setting and shifting the fundamental basis in musical situations ] [ interpreting music means immediacy and passion to me ]
