‘Simple Day’ is a four-piece Pop-Rock act who have spent the last three years based solely in Auckland, New Zealand. In the bands short career they have released five singles & videos (including a tribute track for the 25th anniversary of the movie Grease) & having significant playtime on New Zealand Television & Radio stations, the band is currently in the studio producing their much anticipated debut album “Life Beneath The Sheets”.
In late 2009, Simple Day have made plans to base themselves in Melbourne, Australia. With a larger market & loads of opportunities, including regular festival activity, the band plans to diversify themselves into the new country & attempt to hit the scene full speed ahead!
The band is fronted by the effervescent Koash James, joined by guitarist Mike Viskovich, bassist Grant Morgan & Simon McDowell on drums. The four combine their fun-filled attitudes to create an impressively energetic live show & songs which are commercially upbeat & easy to sing along to!
