About me:
We are Simply His Servants, Cedar Lee's resident Rocky Horror floorshow cast which has been together since late 1994. SHS is Cleveland's only regular, year-round Rocky Horror floorshow cast. We perform the movie on the floor in front of the screen as it's playing. If you're seeing Tim Curry as Frank singing Sweet Transvestite on the screen, you'll be seeing our Frank singing and performing Sweet Transvestite. Of course, there are some things that we cannot fully reproduce in our show (for some reason, the theatre management won't let us put a pool in the floor for the pool scene) but we improvise and do what we can with what we have. We ad lib a lot. Every time you see the film on the screen it's the same movie, but every show we perform is never the same. We have different theme nights throughout the year and from time to time we all play different parts to keep the show original and unique. But remember that even though we are at the show all the time, the backbone of the show is YOU: the audience. Without the audience, there would be no show, and each show is only as good as we all can make it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Admission: $8.50 ($5.00 in costume) *please arrive 30 minutes before showtime* Where we're at: CEDAR LEE THEATRE, 2163 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118 Theatre info line: 440-717-4696 Theatre parking: Metered parking is available in the lot behind the theater. *The theatre parking lot is no longer free--make sure you put money in the meter!* Children under 5 are not permitted into the theatre at any time. THE USE OF CAMCORDERS, STILL CAMERAS, ANY OTHER RECORDING DEVICES AND CELLULAR TELEPHONES WITHIN THE THEATRE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. VIOLATORS WILL BE ESCORTED FROM THE PREMISES AND MAY BE SUBJECT TO CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. SIMPLY HIS SERVANTS is directed by Kim Woodworth and Kevin J Boycik. THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW is rated R by the Motion Picture Association Of America. Both the film and live floorshow contain very strong profanity, brief nudity, and mature subject matter.
