-Christine: She has saved me, literally. She's always there for me. She's the most warm hearted, generous, selfless person I have ever met. I don't think I could have ended up with a better big sister.
-My parents: I will never take my parents for granted. I am so lucky to have two understanding and unconditionally loving people as parents.
-My friends (Linda, Emily, Adelle, and Karen in no particular order because I love you all dearly and equally): I love you all so much. I know it's rare when I open up, but when I do, you guys are always there with open arms. You never run away when I admit something stupid, weird, gross, etc. And when I'm at my lowest, you know how to pick me right back up again. You all know how to make me laugh, cheer me up, and you suprisingly aren't ashamed to have as a friend. :P I couldn't ask for more.
-The Loungers: I don't know what I would do without you all. I can't even find the words to express my admiration and sheer gratitude to you all. You all are so unique and beautiful people and I'm glad to be a part of everything. I'm also glad to have formed some tight bonds with some of you too. :] I will always cherish the deep conversations we've had/will have.
-My pets, living and deceased: Some people don't realize how others can be so attached to pets. It's because they give such unconditional love. When I had rats, every time I would open my bedroom door, if they weren't sleeping, they would run around, dancing along the sides of the cage to say hello. Things like that make pets so amazing and just special.
What is there to really say? I am Katie. I am weird. I like to think I'm funny sometimes. I love my friends and family to death. I am a Lounge junkie. I'm cynical, but slowly beginning to see things more optimistically. I'm open minded. I'd like to think I'm nice (or so I've been told). But I also know I can be meanly blunt, sometimes when I want to be and sometimes it's unexpected. I feel I've become much stronger since surviving a nine hour surgery that involved reshaping my spine, adding hardware to it, and having my ribs and internal organs swished around. I used to hate the scars that it gave me, but now I embrace them. They remind me that I can overcome anything if I put my mind to it.
Who I'd like to meet: All of my Lounger buddies. I love you guys so much.
