Oh if only I could say that summer was in full swing...

Here in the City of Brotherly Love it has mostly been nothing but rain and damp grayness for well over a month now. Usually I like rain, but that is when it is occasional or when I’m in my home watching/listening/relaxing to it. The rain we’ve had here is nothing but horrible and inappropriate. I can’t walk all the way to or from work without getting wet, no one wants to really do anything because it isn’t fun going out for a night on the town in the rain all every night...I can’t go and grab my comics and then walk around...it starts to eat at you sometimes and makes me grasp what the denizens of Seattle must go through if only slightly.

kinda like a cloud i was up, way up in the sky. and i was feeling some feelings you wouldn't believe. sometimes i don't believe them myself and i decided i was never coming down.

This is not to say that all of my world is doom and gloom even if the physical world currently resembles such. So far in these warmer months I’ve had one hell of a good time on a relatively low budget. There have been concerts and mini vacations and week long jaunts to my beloved Vegas (which I’ve now vowed to take a small break from). There have been visits to movie theaters, and the shore (Trump’s Bikini Beach Bar!). This of course is all without mentioning any of the delicious foods or literally intoxicating drinks I’ve had with friends all over the place at cool eateries.

Yes, it has been a relatively nice summer so far, sun be damned.

I’ve been taking a little more pride in my body this year and I’m sure I’ve mentioned my exercising routine. Like most I’ll never look the way I’d love to, but hell I’m growing pretty happy in this, my 36th year on the planet. For someone with my lifestyle and never ever hitting a gym, I take great pride in my current daily total of 40 push-ups and 70 sit-ups. There are likely dozens here on my list with more intense workouts I’m sure, lemme read them in my comments so we can all gauge what is goin’ on with each other and maybe slap a little inspiration into our heads.

Here is something that’ll shock most people who know me but don’t see me on a regular basis. I’ve recently sold my camera. Yes, tis true! Worry not folks, it wasn’t due to debt or anything so silly. I’m planning on getting an upgrade sometime in the fall and wanted to ditch the one I had while it was still 100% functional. I miss that bad boy already and it is taking some getting used to. Isn’t it amazing how we can so adore certain bits of technology?

If you really want to see me, check the papers and the TV. Look who's telling who what to do. Kiss my ass...goodbye.

I know, I know. This was a pretty brief update. I’ve got a lot going on so give me a damned break, ok!? Who am I even yelling at here via text...myself? Note: stop writing out loud to one’s self. Ok, I’m outta here for now. Everything on this page should be anew again. Promise not to lag so far behind gain, k? Joe, Justice Society of America, Uncanny X-Men, Land of Oz: Manga, Booster Gold, Dorothy, Soulfire, Umbrella Academy, Batman and Robin.

--adores pizza, ice cream (gelato included), sushi and ravioli to the point of fault.
--goes to concerts somewhat frequently when tickets aren’t a million bucks. (recently saw Fleetwood Mac, Fischerspooner and Kenny Chesney)
--yearns to have a summer Three Olives Vodka / Philly water ice party.
--got yelled at for wearing his "World Phucking Champions" T-shirt at CBP by a senior citizen usher. *grumbles*
--Born on April 3rd.
--has a red whispering devil Smurf sitting on the table next to his laptop. --dreams of leaving his job of 10 years to become a paid "full time" writer.
--often has scented candles burning when he is home.
--hopes that someday someone’ll love him enough ta wanna marry his dumb ass.
--still gets carded at bars.
--nearly, nearly had a 4-some of himself and lovely ladies. NEARLY. (sighs, lol)
--is seriously into Titanic lore.
--loves texting, not talking, on his cell
--There is a credit card in my wallet of which I've charged junk on since 1991.
--unquestionably adores coffee, especially from Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks' lattes.
--enjoys photographing flowers and bar taps, of all things.
--misses playing his Kingdom Hearts, Dynasty Warriors and Romance of the Three Kingdoms games.
--favorite sports teams would be: Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Phillies. How lucky is he that they have both won a championship in the same year? Wait, don't answer that...
--I love lotsa films by Directors like Doug Limon, Danny Boyle, Luc Besson, Jim Cameron, Guillermo Del Toro and Martin Scorsese.
--was stunned upon finding out that pornstar Gianna Michaels is finally losing her on-camera booty cherry! He'll be purchassing that movie.
--is addicted to fantasy sports but would love to find leagues to do for money once again.
--drinks nigori sake whenever he is able to, specifically "Crazy Milk;" it does a body good.
