Road trips, cheese (preferrably melted or burnt), cooking Italian food, garlic, San Francisco, big words (speaking them aloud, and writing them down), time travel, bourbon, old scotch, old Mercedes, new clothes, new girlfriends. . .and sometimes old girlfriends (sigh), no girlfriend, Daisy Duke, dressing nice, wearing pajamas in public, friends who are smarter than me, or at least more tactful, saying 'fuck,' ('cause it's got the FFFFF, and the UHHH, and the KUH!!!), procrastinating, getting up early, sex in the morning, coffee, being the center of attention, being invisible, living by myself, thumb wars, Chess, Boggle, taking things apart and trying to put them back together, deadly spiders, and extra mayo. That's it

"God created man in His image. Man, being a gentleman, returned the favor." ~Mark Twain
Hi . . . if you're here, it's because we either know each other, are related, there is something about you I find intriguing, or I have seen/would like to see you naked. I think that at one time in my life I was socially adept, but now I don't tend to really leave my house, or say things to people. I have a dog. I say things to her all the time. Sometimes she understands me. Sometimes she talks back. I read a lot of books and sometimes I write down words which come together in a somewhat cohesive fashion . . . see above. It amuses me to imagine what a stranger might think of my self-description. I know lots of talented and beautiful people . . . see below. When I do happen to say meaningful things, it is almost always because one or more of them is listening.
Who I'd like to meet: Decent people; intelligent people; people who understand why I am putting semi-colons here instead of periods; honest people; genuine people; People who know how to cry and how to laugh, and how to do both at the same time; people with depth; people who understand that feeling love and compassion does NOT mean feeling good all the time. If you fall in love with everybody you meet, then you've never felt real love. If you feel happy all the time, then you've never felt true happiness. There is no love without hate, no joy without anguish . . . one cannot exist without the other
"cinque estudiante espanoli!" What an adventure. This Easter I'm eating prime rib from a home grown cow and spending time in Nevada's beautiful nothingness... It's a tough call between this year and last. Miss you!
hello goober. I just got back from taking the family to Disneyland Paris! we had a blast till it rained then I was cold wet and unhappy. But we ate wonderful food and I did a little dance when the exchange rate did not make me cry over my bank slip. all in all a good trip except for the motion sickness from the bus and boat, but I bought 12 bottles of decent looking wine at the wine werehouse in calais for 34 euro, I cried with tears of joy while eating a block of cheese, life was fantastic. Now I am back and have to go to work tomorrow... :( I hope to call you this weekend talk to you soon!
This deal with the Fed and AIG and all the other failed companies has been in the pipeline for months. The bonuses were agreed upon by both parties (they never asked the tax payers, though) a long time ago. The Fed has a vested interest in keeping the top banks alive: they'll keep borrowing. It's a sick, twisted system, and nobody knows about it... not even our representatives in the Congress.
I'm going through this almost exactly right now. It's a funny thing to be reminded that things other than misery can be inspiring ... but what to say that isn't cliche as fuck?
Hey, I didnt know you liked Cibelle... cool. Hey I just got back in town! So Im watchin my lil sis for a few days, but would like to hang before the 20th! Happy Holiday!!
So your profile song tells me you have started the journey! What do you think...? I may be more curious about your interpretation than any I've heard so far.
hopefully!! I really wanna go, but my sis is flyin in from chicago tonight and it kinda depends if she is up for it... even if we dont go and sing, im sure that we will be out somewhere!
I appreciate you thinking I would be clever enough to in fact finish a monty python line so quickly... but no, actually I was just happy, for our friendship AND monty. Have you watch Always Sunny in Philidelphia yet?
