About me: The Simultan Festival is an annual festival for video, media art, experimental electronic music and a/v projects.
This year’s edition runs under the theme Trans:position and will take place on 21-23 May, 2009, in Timisoara, Romania.
The festival wishes to sustain and to stimulate the creative ways of the most modern visions of perceiving and recording the cultural realities in contemporary art. It presents the current processes and the way in which technology and society give rise to new forms of artistic expression by using the new media.
Based on a different theme every year, the festival presents video art projections, live performances, installations, lectures.
We are glad to announce the launch of the new Otaku Magazine issue, which has the theme “THE END OF THE WORLD” and encompasses various themes, from Godzilla and Gundam, to otaku survival methods. (more info: otakumag.com)
Twentyone es el titulo del primer ep de Coushin para Audiovisual Theorem. Un ejercicio impecable de abstracción digital de veintiun minutos de duración. El 50% del duo de techno Agonyforces desarrolla en Coushin su vertiente musical más intima, la que discurre entre glitches y breaks por un paisaje sonoro lleno de emociones y texturas matemáticas. IDM melancólica y avant-techno milimétrico, ritmos robóticos y sensibilidad se dan la mano para configurar el imaginario musical de un alquimista de sonidos enigmáticos y melodias llenas de nostalgia.
Twentyone is the title of Coushin's first ep for Audiovisual Theorem. A perfect exercise of digital abstraction with a duration of twenty-one minutes. The 50% of spanish techno duo called Agonyforces show us with Coushin his intimate music side, which goes on between glitches and breaks through a music landscape full of emotions and mathematic textures. The launch of
the first in history man-made sputnik was held on 4th October 1957.
This day is considered to be the beginning of the mankind space era. The first
man-made sputnik was placed into orbit by a rocket vehicle from Baikonur
spaceport. A radio beacon was installed on a board of sputnik for monitoring
the flight and carrying out an investigation.
