Sina Amedson's Comedian Bio
|
| Bio | I’m an actor and a comedian. Born in Idaho, raised in California, Seattle and Utah and I consider the planet my home.
“Currently in his sixth year of stand up comedy, Sina Amedson clearly has what it takes to not only make others laugh, but contemplate life as well. His performances come across as relaxed and non-confrontational. Easily enjoyed by anyone no matter what comedic style you prefer.
Amedson is venting his passion these days through a microphone on a stage near you. He’s doing a show that he hopes will help change people's perspectives about comedians.
I highly recommend visiting Sina's Myspace page (www.myspace.com/SAmedson) for a thorough biography, amusing blog, tour dates, videos, and more. He is a humble and personable guy and you will not be disappointed.”
- Written by Chase Roper of Punchline Magazine (http://punchlinemagazine.com/blog/about) | | Website | SinaAmedson.com | | Influences | My favorite comedians to watch are: Dave Attell, Doug Stanhope, Sean Rouse, Trenton James, Ron Shock, Bill Hicks, Chris Rock, George Carlin, Dave Chappelle, Louis CK, Brian Regan and Mitch Hedberg.
My friends make me laugh on a regular basis. I also love everyone I've met doing improv.
Adam Carolla is my muse and possibly my biggest influence. He inspires me on a daily basis. He is the funniest man alive in my mind.

People who have touched my life and influenced me in a powerful way:
By clicking on any of the pictures below, you will be taken to their websites.
Trenton James. Star of Pirates of the Great Salt Lake and my best friend. He's also the star of the Trenton James Show and is a regular cast member of the internationally recognized improv troupe, Comedy Sportz He taught me improv and is probably the sole reason I am an actor and comedian today. I would've quit a long time ago if not for him. He's my Obi Wan. Click the picture to be taken to Trent's MySpace page.
Adam got me through my adolescence by being that voice of reason that young kids need and he just happened to be the funniest and sharpest guy on the planet. Self educated and self motivated, he created gold from nothing and I owe much of who I am today to the lessons and philosophies he shared (and continues to share via The Adam Carolla Show)over the radio waves to millions including a lonely kid sitting in his room looking for guidance and entertainment. In all my moves and instability as a child, he was the only constant that I could always search out and find comfort in. Adam Carolla, thank you.

You have opened my eyes and made me understand the world in so many ways that I feel like I can never fully thank you. I look at comedy and life differently because of your philosophies. Thank you very much and I'll see you on the other side.

What you and did for the world of comedy will never be duplicated. You have enriched my life as well as many others. Thank you for the great times and all the laughs. You will be missed.
I have looked up to you since I was a child and meeting you was one of the greatest moments of my career. You and your work were and remain to be in a league of your own. Your insight into the world has sparked something inside my mind that will forever be grateful to you. Thank you...You were one of a kind. |
