About me:

My goal is to take technically sound photographs that will grab your eyeballs by the throat. I am always looking for ways to improve myself as a photographer and as a human being.
I hope that my work is found to be a potent blend of:
1. A tireless dedication to the art or craft of photography. Anyone can buy a camera and take a decent picture. A true professional takes his tools and wields them with the depth of knowledge, skill, and passion of a samurai...or a ninja. 2. Being able to connect with my subjects with an energy built upon mutual respect. Respect is everything. Lose it and you have nothing. 3. Excitement about creating fantasies and telling stories through the still image. Generally on a fairly simple scale. I don't have set designers. What I lack in resources I make up for in tenacity and imagination. I want my work to engage your synapses, pull you in close, and force you to ask questions. 4. Add to all of that the raising of a bit of hell, some good tunes, good timing, a good eye and a lot of luck and we have the general basis for my process.

I am an easy-going social documentarian/rabble rouser/ocd photo-auteur though i am probably best known for the rainbow bloodbaths i have helped create, my style is a bit all over the place at the moment...but thats me and thats the way i like it. versatility keeps things interesting. i aim to explore, learn, and master. hopefully the best is yet to come!
*current projects I am working on:

1. editorial fashion with agency repped or agency quality models 2. distorted but "beautiful" perspectives of the human form * 3. tattoo and fin art portraits * (*for possible gallery and book project) 4. attractive brides or models that have access to gowns that want to do some outside of the box bridal portraits 5. outdoor infrared dreamscapes
I am interested in people of all shapes and sizes for these projects...but preference for the human form project will be given to either the extremely fit or obese. dancers and contortionists a plus.

Please don't get your feelings hurt if i can't work with you TFCD...I only do TFCD in extremely rare cases and at my whim due to an extremely busy schedule and having good relationships with models that I know are dependable and talented. Otherwise email me for my rates.

I am a full-time professional photographer with a studio. TFP's are as rare as a jackolope...as much as I would love to get creative with everyone, I simply don't have the time.
I am available for hire to help provide models with some striking art for their portfolios. I have many package deals available, but if a package isn't for you I also offer portfolio shoots for models desiring magazine quality images start at 150/hr. Each hour includes 1 full resolution and web-sized image professionally retouched with a release to use for self-promotional purposes. Additional retouched images are available from your session for $25/ea.
Professional hair and makeup is also available during your shoot for $75/hr.
*I am interested in finding additional talented make-up artists/stylists and retouchers to collaborate with.*

I am dedicated to creating beautiful and interesting images of beautiful and interesting people, things, and events. I am aware of the broadness and relative nature of that statement, as what one person finds beautiful another may find wretched and vice versa. However, I am content to follow my muse and create art that excites and inspires me for as long as this ride lasts.

My goal with my photography career is to continue learning the craft, improving my skills, and continuing to make a decent living; all while keeping my clients happy and creating some interesting images that will stand the test of time and stay relevant down the road.
I am a cynical idealist. I believe in pure potentiality. Quantum physics. I don't bullshit and appreciate the same from those around me. I am ADD as a rat terrier on speed but somehow miraculously manage to get things done without meds. I am available for hire or for trade if you have something of value to offer in exchange for my services. I live in a BIG town, but the photography/modeling community is quite a small circle.

Pure as the driven snow. Muddy as sin. Dichotomies in our lives make for a much more interesting existence.
I am looking to collaborate with creative and progessively thinking models that like to explore what it means to be human...how we interact with each other and our environments. Sexuality, love, hate, envy, pain, greed, desire, and redemption. The human experience.

I want positive people around me that make things happen. Cynicism is fine, but no energy vampires please...I prefer honest people. Interesting people. Rebels. Good people. Dependable people. Spontaneous people. Cooks. Artists. Acrobats. Funny fucking people. Ninjas. Pirates. Secret agents. Superheroes. Beautiful people. Inside or out and both. People who can prove me wrong. People who want to be in pictures.

I'm a professional photographer... spent too much time wasting time in college and now i'm making up for it.

I love my parents and my sis like no other.

...and sadly enough I've come to realize that i know a lot of people...I have lots of aquaintances and i can count my real friends on both hands and feet.

I'm always looking for more REAL friends.

As the great Ferris Bueller sagely advised, "Life moves pretty fast If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
