There once was a girl who found a treasure, she wasn't quite sure how she found it, it seemed more like it found her. Either way, she was elated and wanted to share it with the world. So she hopped on a plane and flew across the Atlantic Ocean telling everyone she met about this treasure in hopes that they too would see its beauty. While some thought it was rather dingy and old, others were enamored by how it shined. One evening the girl sat on the rooftop of her temporary home, joyfully filling pages with tales from the day, when all of the sudden a dry breeze swept across her face and she heard the faintest sound. It was like a voice calling out to her to pack up her things and return home, to a less desirable, if not more desolate land. She did as she was told anxious to share what she had. The moment she stepped foot on the familiar soil melodies began to swirl through her head and she couldn't stop singing as the words flowed from her lips. She immediately began connecting the words and melodies until a song was born. As she sang she found others who were singing the same song. United in heart, she was joined by three others and they took the name Sinclair, meaning renowned and illustrious, like the treasure of which they sang. To this day they go from city to city sharing the chorus which echoes in their heads, hoping that one day those who hear it will see the value of the treasure as well.
Sinclair was featured (as One Life Lost) on the nationally released “Off the Clock” CD available in over 6,000 Starbucks stores. They have opened for The Afters, Emery, Family Force Five, Fireflight, This Beautiful Republic, John Reuben, House of Heroes, and Abandon. They were openers on the national “Losing Myself Tour” with Me in Motion and “Rock, Hop, and Roll Tour” with Attaboy.
I've been doing pretty well, too... But I've just been relaxing, and trying to write. It hasn't been that successful, but I've been learning a lot, and growing a lot, so it's great. Once you guys get your album done, I will definitely buy one! I'm so glad that you guys are doing good. :)
