Sindrome de Sound begins in 2006. It is a project created by Synergia* (www.sinergialab.org), a platform that promotes culture -drum'n'bass, in this case- in Barcelona, promoting their Dj's, Producers, Mc's, Turntablers VJ's and all the fellow artists that are working constantly. Sindrome de Sound wants to connect the biggest names from the international drum'n'bass and electronic music scene to its booking office.
The quality and the long career of its components has led them to the cabins of the country's biggest clubs, such as Florida 135, La Cova, Blau Club, La Sala del Cel, Le Rachdingue, Palm Beach and others like Eix Club, Chamber Golfus, The Room, Habitat, Chamber Campus, La Nau, Xpressing or Pitch Club. Also some festivals like Electropitas (Almería), Hazard Desert Festival (Monegros) Tribial Xperience (Barcelona) Senglar Rock (Prades), Technotràmec (Parlavà), Radio Alarma Flow (Caldas), Fire (Roses), CoopCorp (Girona) or Termaltek (Caldes de Montbui).
Sindrome de Sound's family has shared lineup with Noisia, Panacea, The Sect, Raiden, Hightone, Spor, Black Sun Empire, Klute, Propaganda, Lethal, Vengeanze, Benny Page and with some of the most established groups from the national scene: Drum'n'basstards, Breakstorm, SanFuSS 6MT, Meelting Pot, Emot Records Dubcelona, Dyskonform, T-runners, Akro6tem, Manik, Tiknolgy, Druminvazion, Bassika Disobedience, Fokin Massive, Bypod Collective, or 2ill Bogotrax Minds.
It could be said that Sindrome de Sound has been crucial to bring the most advanced Drum'n'bass to Barcelona, where Techno and the Breakas rule*. It has helped to introduce big international names to a scene in which very few people ventured, organizing distinctive parties with energetic music, mc's, scratch and audiovisuals, with a special touch, and also building the loyalty of an audience hungry for good sessions and for a good artistic selection.
