Hello and thank you so much for checking out my page! I have written just a short blurb about me, so that you can get to know who I am:)
My Name is Sinead Burgess and I am from a small town towards the beach side of Caboolture and have just turned 17.
My dreams of being a singer started as a very young happy girl singing in the lounge room with hair brush, remote control and water bottle microphones! I learnt piano from the age of 5 and have been playing on and off ever since. I have always wanted to be a part of the music industry. Although it was not until four years ago that I found that country music was the genre I enjoyed the most. Like most kids, I went through a lot of different music styles before I found country. (I still have a video of my friends and I when we were 8, doing a rendition of 'If You Cant Dance' by the Spice Girls!!)
So now, my biggest love and passion in life is country music. I have been going to a lot of festivals and country music events. I started playing guitar two years ago and have practically been glued to it ever since.
I love my friends. They are definately a huge support for me! My best friend Kate McMillan has been to every performance I have ever been involved in! We became friends in grade 1 and are still inseperable after 11 years!! The friends I have met through the country music circuit are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. Liam, Kris and Mitchell have been some of the closest friends I've had. They are all incredible INCREDIBLE musicians and I have no doubt that they will achieve what they want in life. They are three rascals though!! But we all have a lot of fun! Get all of us together for a jam session, and the music wont stop until you pry the instruments from our hands!!!
My family are have always been a great support for me. My mum drives me to and from singing lessons every week and sits in the car for often just over two hours waiting for me. She has always told me how much she believes in me. I wouldnt be where I am today without her. We have a great relationship! My Dad is a great inspiration to me. He has always been a hard worker and has passed on a lot of morals to me. He has been a fireman for 15 years now and always does everything he can to come my performances. He hasnt missed many!! We are an extremely close family and are all best friends!! They are everything to me!
My goal in life is to make a career out of my music. My dream is to be known both in Australia and overseas for entertaining.

i played with Jeremy on friday night in toowoomba for his birthday gig which was fun...very rockin and soooo loud. it was a bit rock n roll. i was in a film clip yesterday & i am going to darwin for a week in the beginning of july. should be nice and warm. thats about my news...
