BIOGRAPHY OF CANADIAN ARTIST D’ANISE
D'Anise first entered back onto the Entertainment Scene in 2003 as a selected contestant in Flow 93.5FM's Soul Search competition with her recorded cover of Whitney Houston's 'Try it on My Own'. Try it on her own she did and from there, she went on to produce her very own CD titled 'My Journey'.
The international attention from such pain, passion & love that My Journey captures brought D'Anise to the attention of the Media as well as fans from around the world.
On her first ever Music interview, the Host and D'Anise had such a natural chemistry together that they discussed a Co-Host position for the star.
For months, D'Anise and Host Hugh Reilly were the voices on Bay Street in Toronto on Thatchannel.com.
After months of success on the show, D'Anise proposed the idea of 'her own show' to Thatchannel. They welcomed it with open arms and 'The Friday Morning Show' first aired on Friday June 6th 2008.
With Celebrity Guests and a down-to-earth approach to asking them questions, D'Anise "Was a natural" they'd say and she quickly worked her way to the top!
Awarded accredidation at the 2008 & 2009 JUNO AWARDS & Canadian Music Week 2009, D'Anise has conducted interviews with some of the worlds most talented stars on the E-Talk Red Carpet.
D'Anise has interviewed such legends as Russell Peters, Ivana Santilli, Mike Turner, Tom Cochrane, Gene Simmons, Belly, Tanya Mullings, Michie Mee, DJ Starting From Scratch, DJ Carl Allen, Mikey Bustos, Allison Hinds and so many more!
With international success comes new and exciting opportunities and in the summer of 2009 D'Anise launched her brand new show "THE MORNING SHOW" which premiered June 20th from the Commercial Film Studios in Toronto with Special Guests the legendary Ms. Michie Mee and rising star Male group TRT!
Mic Boogie, Lindo P, Mikey Bustos, T.Ana Cole and a long list of Canadian stars have already appeared on the show this summer. Upcoming Guest appearances include Hollywood Actor/Director David Stevenson, CABBIE from THE SCORE, France Superstar Ophelia Winter, The Spicy Chef & so many more!
