  • General

    I am what people call a 'road geek.' I take and collect pictures road signs. I also collect roadmaps, especially antique road maps. Another hobby of mine is collecting coins, which I have done since I was 8 years old. I enjoy most of all traveling to Mexico to speak that lnguage and learn the worldview. I am excited to learn different ways to seeing the world. Por eso, se habla Espanol. Finally, even though I do not live in my hometown, Fresno, Ca, I do enjoy meeting people who take as much pride in Fresno as I do. Next to returning to Mexico is returning to Fresno or somewhere near. Further aspirations are the outdoors--especially riding my bike or jogging. At Sanctuary of Hope, where I currently live, I have already begun using the Nature Trail as my routine excersize route.

About me:

I just finished four years of study at Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Mo. In May 2008 I walked across the stage, while my mom, dad, step-dad and grandma watched from the Kansas City First Church of the Nazarene pews. I received my Master of Divinity and MA in Intercultural Studies. I have many possible aspirations--none of which I can seem to decide on right now! I am thinking about applying for PhD programs in the next year or so, however. I love singing, hence the screename that I use in most places is SingerTenor. I have sung in school choirs from sixth grade to current time. These choirs include: Weldon Elementary School Choir, Clark Intermediate School Boys Choir, Bullard High Concert Choir, Bullard High Jazz Choir, Point Loma (Nazarene University) Singers, and Seminary Singers. Other aspirations are collecting images of road signs via the internet or by my own photo talent:), collecting current and dated road maps. Also, I have been a serious coin collector since I was 8 years old. Further aspirations are the outdoors--especially riding my bike or jogging.
